Paediatric General Surgeon

Dr Aneetha Pasupati is a paediatric general surgeon and paediatric urologist.

Dr Pasupati’s private practice is dedicated to paediatric general surgery and paediatric urology (0-15 years). She is committed to education and training, and is the supervisor of training for Paediatric Surgery at John Hunter Children’s Hospital and the chair of the training committee of paediatric surgery in RACS.

Dr Pasupati is currently accepting referrals for the following conditions:

Paediatric Urology

• Undescended, retractile or ascending testes
• Phimosis
• Recurrent balanitis
• Penile abnormalities (including hypospadias and chordee)
• Hydronephrosis and hydroureteronephrosis
• Vesicoureteric reflux (VUR)
• Follow-up of antenatally diagnosed urinary tract abnormalities
• Recurrent febrile urinary tract infections (UTIs)
• Renal stones

Paediatric General Surgery

• Inguinal and scrotal swellings including inguinal hernias, hydroceles and varicoceles
• Umbilical and epigastric hernias
• Umbilical abnormalities
• Skin and subcutaneous lesions
• Neck cysts (thyroglossal duct and branchial cleft cysts/sinuses)
• Perianal lesions including recurrent abscesses and fistulae
• Gallstone disease
