Associate Professor Rani Bhatia
Paediatric Allergy & Immunology Specialist
Associate Professor Rani Bhatia is a highly experienced Paediatric Allergy and Immunology specialist with a strong commitment to children’s health, clinical care, and education.
She is a Senior Staff Specialist in Paediatric Allergy and Immunology at John Hunter Children’s Hospital and a Conjoint Associate Professor in Child Health at The University of Newcastle. She is also a member of the University’s Academy of Clinical Educators.
With more than 20 years’ experience in Paediatric Medicine and Child Health, Dr Bhatia completed her General Paediatrics training at Princess Margaret Hospital in Perth before relocating to Newcastle in 2005 to undertake specialist training in Clinical Allergy and Immunology. She played a key role in establishing the Paediatric Allergy and Immunology Service at John Hunter Children’s Hospital and continues to be a leader in this field.
